A012 - Saddle Tan Leather Cradleboard - Artist: Ken & Debra Smith; 405-278 - Description: This is a beautiful example of craftsmanship. This leather cradleboard was used by Native Americans to carry their children around while they worked. The cradleboard has beautiful fringe work, which is accentuated with black feathers. There is also a medicine bag and a dream catcher located near the bottom to keep the child safe. The loop, to which it would hang from the wall is also made out of leather and is braided. The cradleboard measures 24" long, 13" wide and has a depth of 9". This Native American creation comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
