A023 - Enclosed Leather Medicine Wheel - Artist: Curtis Butsui; 405-278 - Description: This is an interesting piece. This Medicine Wheel has a medicine bag hanging off one of the two arrows, which crosses through the center of the wheel. The arrowheads are made out of stone and the tail feathers are black. Hanging off the other arrow is a simple dream catcher. Located in the center of the wheel is a smaller circle, with burgundy and turquoise beads as well as a piece of antler. Near the bottom of this Medicine Wheel is a 16" long peace pipe. The bowl of the pipe is made out of antler and the shaft is made out of wood. It is decorated with black rabbit fur, leather, and eight rows of alternating Turquoise and Red beads. Throughout this whole piece are twelve black feathers, which are decorated with burgundy and turquoise beads. This Medicine Wheel measures 25" long and 23" wide.
