A026 - Buffalo Head Mask (NOT Native American) - Artist: Yeta Longfeather - Description: This is a very decorative piece and would look great hung on your wall. On the top of this mask is the fur and horns of a bison. There is a blank face made out of bison hide. The eyes and the top of the nose of the mask are painted black and white. The chin also has black and white painted dots. Outlining the face are fourteen Cripple Creek Turquoise gemstones. In the middle of the turquoise is a red and white beaded "pendent". Coming from under each bison horn are six duck feathers and horsehair. The Buffalo Head Mask measures 36" long, 17" wide and 5" deep. This piece is NOT Native American, we picked it up in Albuquerque, New Mexico and felt that it is was creative and nicely made.
