HH012 - Horse Hair Woman of Wind (WOW) - Artist: T. Vail; Navajo 404237 - Description: Horsehair pottery is made like normal pottery except on the last firing they bake on real horsehair. When it is done they paint on a gloss, which makes it shine. It portrays a woman standing on the mesa being blown back by the wind. Etched onto the front of her body is a "bib-like" design. Etched onto her back are designs which resemble happy and sad faces. Her face is also decorated, with the normal. This W.O.W. measures 5" tall, 2" wide, and has a depth of 3". This Native American creation comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
