The young maiden led the defense until the men could return from the fields. This Kachina is authentically displayed with hair up only on one side. She carries a warrior shield and bear claw rattle. Her dress is distinctively painted to reflect the artist’s rendition of this Kachina. The base artistically displays the sunface and pueblos. This unique Kachina measures 13” tall x 4” wide x 3” deep. It is securely attached to the base with wooden pegs, making it extremely sturdy.
