S227 - Alabaster Sculpture - Artist: Ben Livingston; 112 480 - Description: This is a beautifully carved sculpture depicting the heads of a buffalo, an eagle and a warrior. Ben Livingston carved this sculpture out of one piece of Alabaster rock. The detailed work on this unique piece of art is so realistic. The Native American warrior’s head is exquisitely carved with great facial detail. His eyes are inlaid green Malachite, and he is wearing a green Malachite necklace. His headdress has four etched feathers. The eagle’s head is pointed in the same direction as the warrior. His eyes are also inlaid green Malachite. He has an arrow carved down the back inlaid with Valley Blue Turquoise, Red Jasper, Jet and White Buffalo gemstones. The eagle has two feathers tied with Turquoise and Red Jasper beads. On the other side is the head of a buffalo. The horns of this beautiful creature are made out of Jet, and his eyes are also made out of green Malachite. His tongue is sticking out and is made out of Red Jasper. The buffalo also has two feathers tied with Turquoise and Red Jasper beads on his back. At the bottom of the sculpture are two inlaid bear paw prints. The paw prints are made out of inlaid pieces of Valley Blue Turquoise, Red Jasper, Jet, and White Buffalo gemstones. On the other side is a heartline also made of inlaid Blue Turquoise, Red Jasper, Jet, and White Buffalo gemstones. The details in this piece are amazing! This sculpture measures 5 ¾” high, 3 ½” wide, and has a depth of 5 ½". The paw prints measure 1 ½” long. This Native American creation comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
