S273 - White Alabaster Sunface Warrior - Artist: Orval Joe - Description: Alabaster is usually white and translucent, but is often banded with dark colored streaks. Depending on other mineral deposits, the rock comes in a variety of colors from white to gray or pink salmon to a deep red. This creation is carved out of a single piece of green toned Alabaster stone. This is a beautifully carved Sunface Warrior sculpture. The detailed work is so realistic. On the front are mountains, a warrior, and an eagle. On the back is a beautiful sunface. The sculpture measures 7 1/2" tall, 5" wide, and has a depth of 2". An authenticity tag is included with this Native American treasure.
