W215 - 37" Navajo "Throwing" Arrows - Artist: Eddie Hill; 249 477 - Description: This is a very simple "throwing" arrow and was used by itself to throw at predators. The Navajo arrow is made from wood and has a stone arrow head, which is cream in color, and has white tail feathers. There is a multi-colored bead design about 1/3 of the way down the arrow, and then another one 2/3 of the way down. After the first fourteen rows of bead work there is white leather fringe, and before the next fourteen rows of beads is another white leather fringe. The Navajo arrow measures 37" long. This Native American creation comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
