W243 - 14" Male Obsidian Knife with Saguaro Cactus Mount - Artist: P Vroman - Description: This is a large knife with a stand. The mount of the knife is made out of the Saguaro Cactus. The handle of the knife is made out of Antler, and the blade is made out of Obsidian. Obsidian is sharper than razors and is used in surgery for people who are allergic to stainless steel. The two pieces are bound together with sinew. The knife measures 14" long and 1 ½" wide. The mount measures 4 ½" long, 14" wide, and 3" deep. Most knife blades made today are not authentic. This knife blade is genuine and exactly how Native Americans made them years ago. This Native American creation comes with a Certificate of Authenticity and it is entirely Native American made.
